In collaboration with Melbourne/Naarm based record/zine label Psychic Hysteria we are super proud to present you a split 7" record from Hearts and Rockets/Zig Zag as part of Brunswick Music Festival.

Here's a little more about these two incredible artists that we're extremely grateful to represent.

Zig Zag: Straight from the brains of the punk-queer extraordinaire Kelly Dingeldei, Zig Zag is comprised of long-time friends and lovers Dan Barnes, Tom Gowan, Jess Kemp and Alex Pink. Half garage-rock extremists, half disco junkie night cats, swinging these contradictions in the air, careless and free and flaming with pride.

Taking their cues from r n’ r and disco punk royalty like Talking Heads, Bush Tetras and The B-52’s, Zig Zag bring a whole lot of heart to their thumping live show.

Hearts and Rockets: Bratwave duo Hearts and Rockets released their 2nd album, Power, on blue 12” vinyl August 2019 and followed it up with a tour, visiting everywhere from Brisbane to Adelaide. Touching on post-punk, new wave and with a touch of goth, Hearts and Rockets actually write pop songs.

Using 808 drum samples, chorus drenched guitar, crunchy bass, and soaring synths, their call and response vocals will get stuck in your head for life. The duo have had multiple videos played on Rage, as well as countless spins across stations like Double J, RRR, PBS, and album of the week on SYN, EDGE Radio, 4ZZZ and The Breakfast Spread on PBS.
